By the time we got this far, we had seen a lifetime of old roads, new roads, old buildings, historical sites, and seashore. It was time to dry out and head West again. This guy pulled into a gas stop in New Hampshire. Before he got a chance to leave, I jumped in front of him and he graciously paused while I snapped this shot. |

This is highway 100 south from Waterbury, Vermont. The balance of scenery, road conditions and weather made this the perfect 10. A belly full of Ben & Jerry's ice cream from the tour earlier that morning may have had something to do with it. |
