Quebec and the Gaspe |
|
|
After crossing into Quebec from Ontario, and then avoiding Montreal, we dropped down onto Hwy 132 along the south bank of the St. Lawrence. Mostly small towns each with its own church steeple dominating the landscape. The highway just rolls through the middle of town. This is pretty typical. |

Our hotel was right in Vieux Quebec - Old Quebec City. Just love those old buildings. |

This is the wind farm at Cap-Chat on the Gaspe. Why do we always want our bikes to be in the middle of our pictures anyway ? |

Ok, so the picture's a little fuzzy. But the point is, check out the sign. The road along this part of the Gaspe is so low and close to the water that large seas will suck you out into the old briney. |

Fairly typical sight in these parts. Small towns, big churches, neat roads although a little rough in spots. |
