Up over the mountain from the business end of the penstocks and down to the tunnel, which takes us over the dam where the water start it's journey.
I've never been able to figure out why all these churches end up in the middle of nowhere, abandoned. Put there for Ansel Adams wannabe's perhaps. This one is on the road between Lillooet and Lytton.
I suppose those aren't exactly real crop circles in the field across the river but you have to admit, it is kind of pretty. I wonder what they smoke while riding around on that John Deere to get those amazing patterns anyway.
It's 4:30 or so, darkness is coming soon, the temperature hasn't gotten over about 45 F all day, and we're on the wrong side of the Fraser River. You can just bet this little reaction ferry is a welcome site.
Three hour tour....

We made it to Hope just as it got dark. After a nice warm dinner, we hit the road back to Vancouver about 90 minutes away. Half way there, I spotted one of those temperature / clock signs. 42 degrees F.

The ergonomics on the KLR are certainly different than the Concours. After that lovely warm dinner in Hope I soon found out the difference. That warm meal got me a little... ah... gassy. When I figured out the trick to clear the chamber, my ass was so frozen that I couldn't tell if I farted or shit my pants :-o
