This year's Atlantic Canada Ride started out as a Trans Canada Quest IBA ride. That got us from Vancouver out to Halifax in 84.6 hours. Not much more than a long weekend and we're at the other end of the world ! Here are the times from our IBA trip log. This is my third ride to the Maritimes and Sherri's second. Our last trip was 2001.

Not much of a picture to start is it. That's what happens when you drag your ass outta bed at 0'dark thirty.

It's amazing what 84 hours, 3700 miles, two blistered asses, and four sore knees will get you. And zero, yup zero, performance awards. Pass the Advil please.
Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island on Canada Day. Cold beer, mega seafood. Life is good.
If you go as far west as possible on Prince Edward Island, up near Sea Cow Pond ( there's another one of those funny Maritimes names again), you'll find a  wind farm and this place. Two bowls of seafood chowder and two pounds of steamed mussels. Mmmmm....
Reunion time. Robb Belo, formerly of Vancouver, now of Toronto, rode out to Charlottetown to meet us. Did I mention how cold the beer was ?

There's two ways on and off Prince Edward Island. The 13 km. long Confederation Bridge or the ferry. We took the bridge over so now it's the ferry's turn.
