Day 4: Poncha Springs to Pagosa Springs

North Pass

This is Rte 114 just east & south of Gunnison - one of the more fun roads on the route;
even the waitress at the "W Cafe" raved about it and she couldn't have been older than 16 !

Just the way we like our wildlife - seeing their big hairy asses heading away, up the nearest hill.

Wolf Creek Pass

We didn't find much in the way of motels to our liking in Pagosa so we carried on to Durango.
There, we found the Durango Lodge at the eastern end of the historic downtown. It was perfect
and relatively reasonably priced. The GPS coordinate is included in the file for download.
